For the last 10 years, I’ve been working to change that definition.
To me, an athlete isn’t just someone chasing a gold medal. It is the Average Joe. It’s the person who wants to play a full game of basketball on the weekend without their knees giving out. It’s the parent who wants to swim lengths with their kids without getting winded. It’s anyone who simply wants to live life with more strength and less pain.

The Reality of "Catching Up"
I’ve spent a decade in the industry, and I’ve seen a pattern that worries me. I watched people wait until later in life to take their physical health seriously. By then, their bodies had changed dramatically, and they were trying to play "catch up" against years of poor posture and bad habits.
I decided to make it official and launch JC Activity because I wanted to provide high-level knowledge to everyone before it gets to that point. I wanted to bridge the gap between "just exercising" and actually training for life.

My background is unique because I didn't just spend my time on the gym floor; I spent years on the clinical side.
I have worked extensively with people suffering from serious conditions like scoliosis and arthritis. In most places, these conditions are seen as stop signs. But my approach has always been different. I didn't just support them to "cope"—I supported them to make progress.
I have seen clients with arthritis get stronger than they thought possible. I have seen people with scoliosis gain control over their movement they never thought they'd have. If they can do it, so can you.
